Shell Claims It Has a 3.5 Mile-Long Line Attached Between the Aiviq and Kulluk?

Maybe they need to move the Unified Command out of a building that has a bar:
Salvage teams successfully attached the main tow line to the Kulluk drilling unit today at 4 p.m. Alaska Time and Unified Command confirmed all elements are in place for towing operations to proceed.
Tension will be maintained on the line overnight, with recovery expected to begin Jan. 7.
Tension between the Kulluk and what?  Certainly not the Aiviq, which is 3.5 miles offshore, and weathering 20-foot-plus seas and winds texted to me as "getting pretty snotty out here".

Be safe!
